The Draft lived up to it s name and then some! With thunderstorms on all sides of us, the Draft Doubles lucked out as far as rain was concerned  we didn t get any all day, but the wind was unrelenting.&nbsp; What started out as a bit breezy in the morning, by noontime developed into substantial gusts . </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Kevin, who was dishing up some yummy Italian sausage subs, chili, HB and hotdogs, ended up moving the gas grill into the shed, because of the wind. I ended up backing my car into the pavilion and had my own little  tailgate party, operating the computer&amp; printer and saving the paperwork inside the hatchback.&nbsp; </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Considering the weather forecast, we had a really good turnout with 22 teams participating, which broke nicely into four classes.&nbsp; Although no-one pitched above their entering percentage, there were some interesting final results for the day. </p> <p class="MsoNormal">In A Class, Paul Campbell, Hope Presho and Joe Presho all finished the day with the exact same over-all percentage of 40.91 .&nbsp;&nbsp; In B Class, Betty&amp;Granville Weakley finished the day with the exact same over-all percentage, and in D Class, Anthony Dean and Charlie Leonard also finished up with the exact same percentage. </p> <p class="MsoNormal">All of the first place teams in A,B,C classes took the class with zero losses.&nbsp; D Class was the only class that had a playoff for 1<sup>st</sup> place, and all of the people on those two teams came to the event without a partner! We paired them up at sign in time. What a fun end of the day for all of them. </p> <p class="MsoNormal">I m looking forward to seeing the pitchers back on the SD Courts in a few weeks for the Old Dominion.
