The 2009 Paul Caviness Open Classic was a great success. This was one of the big events that were held on coast guard family and friends day. We made a special presentation and dedicate this horseshoe tournament in the name of Paul Caginess Open Classic.

Their were 24 players and were broken down to 6 classes. The 6 class winners were as follow: Class-A Paul Caviness, Class-B Armando Arsenault, Class-C Josh Clabby, Class-D Gene Daigh, Class-E Chris Lang and Class-F Brice Martin. Paul Caviness was the over-all tournament winner for the third straight year. Josh Clabby was the over-all tournament runner-up. It was a good and warm day for pitching horseshoe. Hope to see many more back next year.
