The Butterball Classic

The 2008 BUTTERBALL CLASSIC kept away many players because of mother nature. It started out with cloudy skies, drizz rain and 15 to 25 mi wind. We complete the tournament with no problem. The heavy part of the rain came after about an hour after we finished. There were 15 players came out and had a great time. We had four classes. The top prize winners in each class receive a 17 pound Butterball Turkey. This was the state last sanction tournament of the year and we are proud to end up with it and a Holiday Turkey for our Class Winners. In Class A, the top three winners were 1st Place Don Masters, 2nd Bill Maitland and 3rd Kenneth Henson. In Class B: 1st Place Gene Webb, 2nd Cary Davis and 3rd Jim Walls. In Class C: 1st Place Sherwood Brown, 2nd Tony Webb and 3rd Deforest Mapp, In Class D: 1st Place Scott Fencil, 2nd Hugh Cline and 3rd Dewain Hammond. We would like to thank all the players who came out and made this a success tournament. We hope to see you all back and many more to come.
