The Fire Cracker Classic

At the Firecracker Classic we had a small turnout of 9 horseshoe pitchers. Seven from Va., and two from TN. Glen Stallard of TN., won A Class with an 5/0 record. Nathan Davis took 2^nd with an 4/1 record. In B. Class, John Cummings took 1^st place with an 3/0 record. 2^nd place went to a returning pitcher, Jaymie Steele, came back to pitching after about 3 years away. We had great weather in the mid 80’s. and we finished up around 2;30. Four of us went to TN, to pitch in the night tournament a Rock Springs. Glen Stallard, Billy Breeden, Robert Tinley and I. We had a good time and I invited their Club to come up and pitch in our tournament on Sept. 13 and enjoy the flea market there as well. I would like to thank all who came out to pitch and these who help put it all together. Thanks JC
