Porstmouth Summer Classic

The 2008 1st Portsmouth Summer Classic Horseshoe tournament was a hot one, 14 pitchers came out to participate in the tournament. Everybody had a great time and lots of fellowship with other players.

The top 3 winners from each group are as follows,

Group #1, Glenn Barlow finished in 1st place and a 56. 25% and a 6-0 record, Horace Phillips 2nd place with a 53.75% and a 3-3 record and Jerry Colyer 3rd place with a 53.75% with a 2-4 record.

Group#2, Marvin Chesson finished 1st place with a 5-1 record and a 35.00%, Bill Maitland finished 2nd place with a 4-2 record and a 35.83%, Jack Miley 3rd place with a 2-4 record and a 29.58%.

Group#3, Sherwood Brown finished in 1st place with a 3-1 record and a 24.38%, tom bunting 2nd place with a 2-2 record 22.50% and Gene Webb 3rd place with a 26.88%.

Group#4: William Ponton finished in 1st place with a 4-0 record and a 27.50%, Melvin Pfeiffer 2nd place with a 2-2 record and a 14.39% and Tony Webb 3rd place with a 0-4 record and a 15.63%.

All groups had to played each opponent twice. What a great time we had and hope to see you all back next time and many more . "let um ring"
