The Senior Olympics 2003

The last day of the 5 day horseshoe event  started out at 7:30 am. Only 3 classes to run, the weather look fantistic. Sign up went smooth, the courts were assigned. Pitchers  hit the pits looking for the gold by 7:45 AM. Everyone schedule to pitch this final day worked to get here by competing in the preliminary play the day before. The prelim classes were set up as 8 man round robins, games to 21 points. The winner of each class  faced off here.

Parke Barner from Pennsylivian  lead the 55 to 59 - Male finals as 1st seed
Park went on to win the gold with a 7-0 record.

Billy Cook from North Carolina lead the 60 to 64 - Male finals as 1st seed
Billey went on to win the gold with a 7-0 record.

And Patricia Blackmon from Virginia lead the 60 to 64 - Female finals as 1st seed, Patricai also went on to win the gold with a 7-0 record.
