Churchville Draw Partners
By  Kevin Snelgrove
What a beautiful day to be pitching shoes! Yea the temperature was hot, in the high eighties, but the humidity had fallen overnight, making it a comfortable day. 32 pitchers came out to this "draw" doubles tournament. 8 teams in 2 classes all pitching at once. The shade in Churchville was once again great, providing relief from the sun.

Father and son Denny and Dwayne Davis  won the 2nd Flight with a perfect record of 7-0, a couple of their games were neck'n neck in the finish.

In flight 1, partners Christy Hall and Ray Staton also swept their class with 7-0. Second and 3rd place had a pitch off to determine the outcome.  Dave Kallison and Carl Griffin took 2nd place , Earl Puffenbarge and Cindy Jones finished 3rd.
