In B class, Jerry Colyer had 6 wins and 1 loss, and that was enough to grab the patch. Jim Barr and Jackie Wetzel tied at 5 and 2, Jim had the percentage advantage and took 2nd place

Jerry Roberts took the trophy in D Class with 6 and 1, and Jack Abrams edged Butch Thompson by percentage for 2nd place.

E class pitcher Johnny Monarchy had a clean sweep, 7 and 0 to take the patch… the trophy AND the 50/50 !!! home. Charlie Leonard finished 2nd  with 6/1 and Dickie Miller 3rd 5 and 2.

Half way through the tournament, a downpour delayed pitching for a short time Other than that, it was warm and a bit humid. Play resumed promptly, and the pitchers rallied. Feeling good and pitching well is what it takes. 

Ray Staton is coming on strong. After winning first place last week in Churchville, he pitched a great game in Crozet. Ray had a clear victory in C Class, 6 wins/1 loss, taking home the Trophy in back-to-back wins in both tournaments. Glen Ritchie edged Gary Morris by percentage to take second place.

F Class went into playoff rounds. After 6 rounds, there was a 3-way-tie for first place between Mary Dunivin, Terry Sparks and David Short. They all had 4 and 2.  Mary had to fight through 2 more rounds to win the trophy, but she did it. David finished 2nd and Terry 3rd. 

A good many of the A class pitchers helped out by "pitching in" and taking turns score keeping for the morning classes.  In this tournament, the 30' and 40' pitchers were awarded as separate classes. In the 40foot mens class ,  Tommy Gann emerged the victor over Ric Hall and Nathan Davis.  And in the 30 foot division,  Amy Hall took 1st place with 83.11% Not bad at all. Keep it up Amy!.
